At long last, we're finally announcing what we've been up to! Our first three public projects are now online! Although these projects may wind up being run as for-profits, nonprofits, co-ops, or who-knows-what, they are currently up and running, and are still very much designed in keeping with our original vision to help re-invent the entire business of media to put the interests of ordinary people above the interests of powerful institutions like political parties or big media corporations!
We are very interested in partnering up with other local businesses, media-makers and other dynamic local forces to turn Humboldt County into an economic powerhouse by developing the region into a major hub of the new media industry.

The Media Makers Club The Media Makers Club is a social networking site for Humboldt County's many artists and communicators. It's like our own local MySpace just for Humboldt County media-makers of all kinds! Why have an online community for local media-makers? In one word: COLLABORATION. Teamwork is central to making great media. Working alone, we rarely achieve the excellence that's possible through working together. The Media Makers Club is the spot to connect up with other local media-makers, so we can build better production teams, and together begin to unlock the power of collaboration. With more teamwork and interconnection between local media-makers, Humboldt will churn out better and better media, which starts us on our way to becoming a major center of the emerging independent media industry!
